Mr. Carlton Wilson - Executive Director (Shalom Group of Schools)

Mr. Carlton Wilson, an eminent academician, is the newly appointed Executive Director of Shalom Group Of Schools. He brings to SHIS, the very best practices in education and instruction having had an exposure at the International level in many a country and also on a domestic front.

Mr Wilson, who belongs to an Anglo-Indian community from Bangalore, has a strong and continuing academic background, having achieved a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics and Statistics and two Master's degrees, one in English and the other in Education. He did most of his primary and middle school education in Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie and at St. George's College, Mussoorie.

During his career, Mr Wilson utilized a broad range of pedagogical and assessment modes to better meet the needs of his students and teaching fraternity. He also served in several leadership roles during his tenure in the field of education as a Teacher, Board Examiner, Founder Principal and Head of School. Besides leading the planning and development across many Examining Boards both in India and abroad and being a Resource for conducting Workshops at the School Level; he has served as Headmaster of one of the elite schools of New Delhi, as the Vice Principal of an International School in Abu Dhabi, as the Founder Principal of an International School in Bali, as the Principal of the Singapore International School at Jakarta and the Head of School at a SLI, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Mr Wilson has a sound knowledge of Indian and International Curriculum (IGCSE, ISC, Cambridge and CBSE). He spent close to three decades as an educationist where his commitment has been to ensuring discipline and academic excellence at all levels in/out of the Class Room/School by one and all. His emphasis has been on maintaining excellent and effective teaching strategies/methods ensuring every child is catered to in a competitive environment while receiving a holistic education. Mr Wilson, in-between his tenure abroad, spent time in India working with Amity International School, Noida in a senior position. He also set up CBSE schools in the States of Jharkhand and Karnataka. Mr Wilson has excellent interpersonal communication skills and loves being with children on the playing field and in the classroom.
