Our ever-inspiring Founder-Managing Director, Dr. Lilly George, provided yet another deserving opportunity to our students to shape their personality with a sharp edge! Our students of Junior Division participated with full vigour in the World Scholar’s Cup (Global Round) held between 26th – 30th June’17 at Hanoi, Vietnam, based on the theme of ‘AN UNLIKELY WORLD’. Groomed by their mentor, Ms. Rinky Tandon, the Shalomites oozing confidence, emerged as world class global winners from among 3500 scholars from 40 countries across the globe, by being at the 12th Position - the only school from India.

It was a proud moment to witness our Stormy Shalomites- mark high sweepstakes of over 160 medals and 6 trophies to their stride breaking all their previous records. Applying their mental ability our bright orators enthusiastically breezed through rounds like, The Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl and General Awareness with amazing expertise.   Our scholars Rishika Arora,  Kushagr Kapoor and Kenneth Lobo deserve special mention for putting their best to stand at the 2nd position in South –East Asia. Along with them, Rushikesh Aaoley , Vedant Swain and Nandini Shukla swept away the trophy to be the top  challenge team. It was an emotional moment when Rishika Arora proudly held aloft the flag of India at the Closing Ceremony.

The selection in second round gave them international exposure and greater insight into India's diplomatic ties and bilateral relations with South Korea. The students were groomed and trained by the Quiz In-charge Ms. Lopa Mishra. The Students had pulled up their socks for the high octane second round of the competition where they faced off with other stalwarts from prestigious schools like DAV (Delhi), Springdales (Delhi), Kothari International School (Delhi), APJ School (Delhi) to name a few. There were 90 participants.
